Fingers

Finn Gerstatt, better known as Fingers, is a ripperdoc who works upstairs in a shabby flophouse tucked into a back alley of Jig-Jig Street, in Japantown, Westbrook. He considers himself the finest ripperdoc on the street, an opinion the game’s database is far from sharing. His look is hard to miss, from the leather collar to the long fake nails, and so is his unsettling fascination with the human body.

Most of his clients are sex workers and addicts with little money. Fingers lets newcomers pay what they can or run a tab, which looks generous until the hardware is examined: his implants are second-hand at best and often obsolete or defective, so patients keep coming back with new problems. His habit of making do with scrounged equipment has earned him the nickname recycle-doc in some circles. Worse, he gropes patients during procedures, counting on the fact that they cannot afford anyone better.

Fingers enters the main story in The Space in Between, when V and Judy Álvarez trace a missing Evelyn Parker to his clinic. The visit goes badly for him: Judy ends up slapping him, and if V throws a punch as well, he later refuses to treat V. Outside that job, he is one of the ripperdocs V can buy cyberware from, starting in Act 2.
