Evelyn Parker

Evelyn Parker is a doll at Clouds, an upscale dollhouse in Japantown where a system reads each client’s desires and hands them to the best-suited doll, whose chip then erases the session from memory. Sharp and ambitious, she took the job while chasing an acting career, and it ended up lasting far longer than she had planned. At Clouds she met the braindance technician Judy Álvarez, who became her best friend.

In 2077 Evelyn is a regular companion of Yorinobu Arasaka at Konpeki Plaza. The Voodoo Boys pay her to record a braindance of his suite, and she works out that their real target is the Relic, an experimental chip in Yorinobu’s possession. Rather than help them get it, she decides to steal it herself and sell it to NetWatch, who would pay her and give her a fresh identity under their protection. She hires the fixer Dexter DeShawn to organize the job.

V meets Evelyn at Lizzie’s Bar while the heist is being prepared. Elegant and guarded, she keeps her real plans to herself, and she even offers V a bigger cut if Dex is left out of the deal. After the heist she drops out of sight, and the search that V and Judy launch to find her leads them into some of the grimmest corners of Night City. Her story ends in tragedy.
