Wakako Okada

Wakako Okada is the leading fixer of Westbrook. She runs her business from a pachinko parlor on Jig-Jig Street in Japantown, where mercs come to pick up gigs and collect their pay. Her ties to the Tyger Claws run deep: all nine of her sons hold senior rank in the gang, and she keeps them in line so that none of them ever becomes a job on another fixer’s list. She has also outlived five husbands, a fact that keeps rumors about her alive.

Wakako is the fixer behind V’s first job after the prologue, in which V and Jackie Welles rescue Sandra Dorsett, one of her clients, from scavengers. Later in the main story, V and Goro Takemura visit her for information about security at an upcoming parade, and she also hands out side jobs and gigs across her district.

Her manners are impeccable, but people who do business with her know exactly how dangerous she is, and she has little love for Arasaka. Outside the video game, she appears in the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, where she gives David Martinez’s crew a job, and in the tabletop game Cyberpunk RED.
