Biography

Kerry Eurodyne is one of Night City’s most famous musicians, a rockerboy who has been a star for some fifty years. He first made his name as a guitarist and singer in Samurai, the band fronted by his best friend Johnny Silverhand. The two wanted to change the world through music but rarely agreed on how. After the band split, Kerry built a long, platinum-selling solo career. Proud of his Filipino roots, he lives in Villa Eurodyne, a mansion in the hills of North Oak.

By 2077 the spark is gone. Kerry struggles to write, and the tabloids report that he is depressed. The news reaches Johnny, now an engram living in V’s head, who insists on seeing his old bandmate. In the side job Holdin’ On, V lets Johnny take over their body inside the villa, and Kerry recognizes his friend from the way he plays guitar. Their reunion leads to a one-night Samurai comeback gig, and V helps round up the old lineup.

Kerry’s story continues after the concert. He hires V for a series of jobs against Us Cracks, a Japanese pop group that covered one of his songs without permission, and the affair makes him question his dealings with his label, MSM, and his manager. A masculine V can also pursue a romance with him. Long before the video game, Kerry appeared in the tabletop games Cyberpunk 2013 and Cyberpunk 2020.
